OBJECTIVES AND TARGET AUDIENCE
Globalisation brings about increasingly frequent contacts with authorities, entrepreneurs and operators from all over the world. It is therefore essential to be familiar with the formal rules in use in other countries in order to avoid incidents that may prevent the achievement of objectives. Anyone involved in international relations and contacts at any level in the public sphere and in the business or professional sphere is therefore a natural recipient of this course. But the course is also aimed at examining the rules of the many specialised ceremonials that must be applied at events. Military aspects are specifically examined, because they do not only concern the wearer of a uniform. Relations with religious authorities and Vatican ceremonial demand special attention in Italy. The organisation of weddings demands respect for ceremonial and epistolary aspects. Universities and other institutions enjoy an autonomy that requires the definition of internal rules. Sports and Olympic ceremonial have their own rules that are good to know. The ceremonial in the European Union is now also national internal rules. And that in local authorities and regions has particular connotations that are good to know. This seminar provides a specific in-depth study, which is of interest to administrations, corporate sectors, private institutions and professionals.
